Dreams Are Far Away !!!!! Second Link Become Linkless for me !!!!
11 November 2007 is an unforgettable day in my life because that is a first day i participate in an international Johor-Singapore Second Link Bridge Marathon. I was very happy when my feet touch the second link Road. That was a 7 Km marathon. I start my competition with full of energy and concentration
But i never expect that i will loss my energy just 1 km on running way. After that i cannot continue my marathon. Me and my friend asok max just finish the marathon by walking. It is a sweetest worst experince in my life. When i past 3 km , i felt thirsty , but there is no water with me. I know there is alot of water below the bridge in the river. But What is the use ?? I cannot drink that…..Luckily my friends twins give me water bottle that sponsor by PLUS ( Plaza LebuhRaya Utara Selatan).
After me and my friend quench the thirst we continue our marathon with dull mood and with a high intensity of sun ray. I feel very tired but i force my self until i finish my marathon. I dont know what is my placement in the ranking. But sure i will a 8934 th person. I thought the marathon is finish when i pass the finishing line but it is not. Yes , i put my bag near to the caltex and petronas in the second link but i forget the place where i put the bag and i wrongly enter the other place. I was become panic , and dont know what to do. After 20 minutes gap i found the real place with help of my friend and also the twins which i mention earlier in this story. I start walking with my friends to the place where i put the bag. Its about 1 km far away. I took my beg there and suddenly spotted at my teacher. I was shocked when he say i must go to the place where the marathon finish because my bus was waiting there. The place that he was mention is the location that i said i wrongly entered. I felt as in the hell. but what to do ?? I start walking with my friend asok max to the place of finishing line.
After i arrive there i, i cannot find where is my bus !!!! Meanwhile some great heart mans sponsor power root energy drink to the marathon participants. I once again quench my thirst and start to find my bus. Luckily i found that with help of my form 5 EST teacher. I just enter the bus and start to relax myself. Many thing start to cross in my thoughts. My dream that can win in the marathon become a real dream. I hope next year i will try my best.
Only the T-Shirt that i got in the marathon is a consolation for me.
